McGowan Trainee Career Advancement Program (MTCAP)
Through the McGowan Institute of Regenerative Medicine, graduate students of the Bioengineering
and Interdisciplinary Biomedical Sciences Programs are able
to tap into ongoing research opportunities and to provide
assistance to further develop and enhance their choice of
studies. The membership is available free of cost to all
graduate students that are enrolled at the University of
Pittsburgh in the Bioengineering or Interdisciplinary Programs.

Multidisciplinary Education
As pioneers in the relatively new field
of regenerative medicine, McGowan Institute faculty and staff
are both obligated and delighted to contribute to the growth
of the field by participating in the career development of
young scientists. The McGowan Institute and its partners provide
the country’s largest
breadth of training programs in regenerative medicine -- for
