Call for Abstracts

Deadline for Abstracts: October 15, 2007

REVIEW CRITERIA AND SELECTION OF ABSTRACTS
Oral presentations will be selected from submitted abstracts in the following areas:

  • Mechanical and Material
  • Properties of Biologic Scaffolds
  • Effect of Processing upon Biologic Scaffolds
  • The Host Immune Response to Biologic Scaffolds
  • Composition of Biologic Scaffolds
  • Degradation/Remodeling of Biologic Scaffolds
  • Clinical Applications of Biologic Scaffolds, Including:
    • Orthopedic
    • Urologic
    • Dermatologic
    • General Surgery
    • Cardiovascular
    • Gastrointestinal

Abstracts will be reviewed and evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Contribution and relevance to the field of regenerative medicine
  • Quality of scientific content of research
  • Previous presentation or publication of the subject matter
  • Adherence to required format
  • Human clinical applications will be given preference over pre-clinical animal studies

ABSTRACT CONTENT (maximum 300 words)
Content should be organized as follows:

  • Statement of purpose
  • Methods, materials and analytical procedures
  • Summary of the results in sufficient detail to support conclusions
  • Conclusions
  • References to published literature
